Common questions

Where are my letters kept?
Only on your device: in your browser on the website, or on your iPhone in the app. They aren’t sent to us and aren’t backed up anywhere.

Can I move my letters to a new phone or computer?
No. That’s the trade-off for keeping them completely private. If you want to keep a letter, copy it somewhere you trust.

How do I delete a letter?
On the home screen, tap Delete on the letter, then confirm. It can’t be recovered.

How do I turn reminders on or off? (iPhone)
In the iPhone’s Settings app, go to Notifications, then Family Overture.

I saw a post that shouldn’t be there.
Use Report under the post. A person looks at every report. You can also Hide the post, or everything from that name, on your own device.

How do I remove something I posted?
Email us with roughly what it said and when, and we’ll take it down.
